Beef Meatball Noodles Soup (Ramyun Style)

Ingredients: 
  • Dry Mee ( Any kind of noodle)
  • Meat Ball
  • Tauhu (Fried Bean curd)
  • Bird eye chili
  • Salt
  • White pepper
  • Parsley leaf
  • Spring Onion (Sliced thinly)
  • Seasoning(maggie cukup rasa or tumix)


How to make it:
1. Boil dry noodle. Toast and keep aside.
2. Boil water in a pot. Put tauhu and meat ball.
3. If like spicy added some chili and throw salt,pepper ,seasoning stir all together.
4. In a bowl, noodles pour with the soup had made before. 
5. Finish with parsley leaf and spring onion.If you like, throw little bit dry shallot on the top and enjoy!

Fry Mix Vegetables With Tauhu

Ingredients:

  • Cauliflower (cut)
  • Broccoli(cut)
  • French beans (cut about 2-3 inches long)
  • Fried tauhu   
  • Carrot (Slices thinly)
  • Baby corn (cut into inches )
  • Oyster sauces
  • Salt
  • White pepper
  • Garlic(chopped)
  • Cooking Oil
How to make it:
1. Heat oil on the frying pan.
2. Put garlic and fry . Add all vegetable and mix it well.
3. Added Oyster Sauces, Pepper and pinch of salt.
4. Fry about 3-5 minutes. Not too be over cooked and done.
*it very simple to make and the taste also great. Suitable during diet ,it very fresh also high with fiber.

Tauchu Chicken

Ingredients: 
  • Chicken cut into ideal size
  • Fermented beans or tauchu 3 or 4 Tbls (got two options sweet or salty beans)
  • Potato 2 pieces (cut divide into 4)
  • Mushroom 5-8 pieces slices thinly or depends with your favor. (any kind of mushroom,usually  shiitake or button)
  • Shallot (Chopped)
  • Onion(Sliced)
  • Ginger(Chopped)
  • Lemongrass (mashed it )
  • Garlic(Chopped)
  • Red Chilies 2 pieces (slices)
  • Soy Sauces 1 tbls
  • Oyster sauces 1tbls
  • Pinch Salts
  • Cooking Oil

How to make it:
1. Heating oil, fry the garlic,lemongrass,ginger,onion and chilies.
2. Added fermented beans.Put little bit of water and insert chicken mix all together.
3.Wait until the chicken almost cooked ,put mushroom and potato. Added some soy sauces,oyster sauces and pich of salts.
4. Finishing with slices of Onion ring. Done!

Simple Prawn Fritters


Ingredients:
  • 1kg of small prawns
  • wheat flour 3cup
  • Water 1 1/2cup
  • Curry Powder 1tbs
  • Turmeric Powder 1tbs
  • Green Chilies or red(chopped)
  • Salt
  • White Pepper Powder 1/2 tbs
  • Food Seasoning(I am using Maggi Cukup Rasa or Knor)
How to make:
1. Peel off all the skin of prawns.Wash it.
2. In a big bowl,put some flour,prawns and water. 
3.Added all the ingredients.Mixing well.

4. Heat some cooking oil. Then fry the prawn mixtures.

5.Fry until the outer layer getting crispy n little hard. It easy to make and delicious.

*It always fit to dip with chili or tomato sauces .The other ways it can be eat with steam rices.

Smoked Fresh water Fish(Catfish/patin)

This is my father favorite dish of fresh water fish. He like the classical taste of smoked fish.This our traditional food. Have so many type of catfish in freshwater. Patin(local people called it) was the big one and have sweet taste of meat. Smoked is different with barbecue even the method was same.
Ingredients:
  • Any type of catfish (Cleaned)
  • Tamarind (buy from shop/packet)
  • salt
  • Red Onion
  • Garlic
  • Lemon grass
  • Cooking Oil
  • Banana Leaf
  • wooden charcoal(to make the fire for smoked session)
How to make:
First, marinate fish with tamarind and salt. 
Onion & garlic crushed. Take the lemon grass, punch and make it look like a brush. Put crushed onion & garlic into a jar filled with cooking oil,mix it. 
while the grill is ready, put banana leaf as a cover to make sure the fish not burn. Use lemon grass to put oil mixture on banana leaf.
Place the fish, put some oil mixture(always using lemon grass to put the oil,you smell it nice).
Reduces fire during this step and let much smoke. Its important to control the fire,and wait until the fish really dry and cooked. Always turn back the fish. My father done this take 20-30 minutes..but sometimes almost 1 hour.
*It nice ti eat with dipping sauce or sambal belacan(hot chili with shrimp paste)

Green Mango Salad

Ingredients:
  • 2-3 mango(peel off the skin & Shredded)
  • Salt
  • Bird eyes chili or small chili (red)(blended or chopped)
  • Shrimp paste
  • Anchovies or dry shrimp
  • Red Onion(if u like)
  • Some water
How to make:

In a bowl put shredded mango, add little bit of water,just to moisturize. Pinch of salt and stir.
Then add chili(u blended chili together wit shrimp paste) and shrimp paste,another mixture such as dry shrimp and onion. Mix well.
*serve with white rice.it always be a side dish. If you love sour,you can add little bit of lime juice. I like to eat this salad with fried fish.it was an ideal combination.

 Sayur Manis(Star gooseberry) Omelette

This is my home recipe that my mum always cooked. We called "sayur manis" in malay means sweet leaf in English but also known as star gooseberry. Here i put a picture of sweet leaf,to easy for recognize.

It can be cook in so many ways,but mostly i like to eat this way,more easy and fast. 
Ingredients:
  • Sweet leaf(cut about 2.5 inch)
  • Egg(Depends with amount of sweet leaf,sometimes people like less egg,but i done whole covered with egg)
  • Pepper
  • Salt
  • Onion(Chopped, if don't like to put onion also can)
  • Bird eyes chili or any type of chili(If you like spicy)
  • Cooking Oil
How to make:

Put some egg into the bowl,stir and add some salt,pepper,chili and onion.Mix it well. 
After that,add sweet leaf to the mixture.stir and mix everything.
Heat the non-stick pan,put little bit of oil. when heated,pouring down all the mixture to the pan,make it shape roundly. Turn back upside down. wait until cooked. 
*its nice to serve with rice and dip into chili sauce,or any kind of dipping sauce. you also can make it for your sandwich or eat just like that.
